Ice-Vibe Cold Circulation Therapy Boots tackle 3 key issues:

Reducing Soreness and Swelling
Helping to Boost Circulation
Stimulating Healing

The massage effect of Ice-Vibe encourages movement of the lymphatic system, draining inflammation and stimulating repair to damaged tissue. Using Ice-Vibe before exercise can help reduce the risk of injury by increasing blood flow to the tendons and ligaments making them more prepared and acting as a pre-warm-up warm-up. Everyday wear and tear on joints can be managed with daily use of the boots.

As an Ice Boot - they work very effectively at cooling the legs down through the use of the Cold Packs provided. Cold packs used from the freezer will cool the blood passing them as the massage keeps blood flow circulation, thus cooling more blood and encouraging immediate repair and recovery of cells and tissues not denied oxygen and nutrients via the blood that can occur when using ordinary ice boots.

Use before exercise without cold packs, use after exercise with cold packs.

For competition, use prior to competition warm-up without cold packs unless it is a very hot day. Use after competition with cold packs immediately.

If the competition is a particularly aerobic event that results in hard-blowing afterwards, such as the XC phase or a race, use cold hosing/ice boots during cool down while the horse is still blowing hard. The reason for this is the heart is still pumping blood with plenty of vigour. Once the hard-blowing eases, switch to Ice-Vibe with cold packs and vibration massage to encourage reduction in any bruising, swelling, soreness that may have occurred during the competition.

Ice-Vibe boots use a neoprene outer with elasticated inner pockets for the vibration panels, soft binding and secure Velcro fastenings to prevent slipping.

Contoured to fit the lower leg, Ice-Vibe boots can be used on both front and hind legs. Easy to use, first wrap the cold packs around the leg, then place the boots on top. Ensure your vibration panels are in the preferred pocket if you wish to target a specific area and always flat side of the panel to the horse's leg.

The boots have had an update, now with a smooth outer to repel shavings and dirt and beaded gel cold packs for optimal performance and fit. Some attractive blue piping completes the look!

Hints: always remember to hold the battery controller down for 3 seconds to switch on or off. One press changes settings, of which there are 3. Setting 2 is your go-to setting for pre- and post-work as well as managing injuries. Setting 1 for introducing your horse to the boots and in the immediate days after an acute injury. Setting 3 for horses that have a lot of scar tissue from previous injury that you wish to break down, or for horses on long periods of restricted movement that will need more help with circulation.

Available in Size Full or ExtraFull. Full size has been wrapped onto small jumping ponies, they just may be a little long! Will suit front and hind legs up to 16.2hh. ExtraFull size is designed for horses with plenty of bone and above 16.1hh, in particular Dressage horses' hind legs.
