Returns/Exchange Policy

For all refunds and exchanges please first contact the Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery team on (03) 53361344 or at saddlery@hewittandwhitty.com.au.

Change of Mind

We will happily refund or exchange a product if you change your mind (meaning the product is the wrong size, colour or style and non faulty) as long as the following is met;

  • Proof of purchase is provided.
  • Is within 60 days of purchase.
  • The product is in saleable condition – unused, clean condition with all sealed, original packaging and/or tags attached.
  • All footwear has their inner packaging correctly in place, soles are completely clean and accompanied by the original box.
  • All horse wear and tack is unused and free from hair, dirt, feed, bedding, grass, manure and mud.

We reserve the right to refuse the return of a product due to change of mind in the event we believe it raises safety concerns.  This in particular refers to riding helmets and safety vests.

All postage/shipping costs related to change of mind refunds/exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds will not be provided until we can confirm the items/products have been received by Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery and have been deemed to meet the above criteria.  If the products do not meet the above criteria, they may be returned to you.

Refunds will be paid back into the customers PayPal account or credit card and may take 5-10 business days.

Faulty Items

If you believe you have purchased a faulty item please immediately contact the Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery team on (03) 53361344 or at saddlery@hewittandwhitty.com.auYou can also drop into one of our LOCATIONS.

In many cases the faulty item will need to be returned to our Ballarat store and then on to our suppliers for assessment of the fault. 

This may include replacement, repair or refund.  This can however take some time.  In all cases, we will do our best to provide you with a timely resolution and keep in contact with you during this process.

To action any replacement, repair or refund on a faulty product, Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery must be shown proof of purchase.

Incorrect Item Sent/Item Different from Advertised

In the event we have sent you the incorrect item or the product is different from pictured/described please immediately contact the Hewitt & Whitty Saddlery team on (03) 53361344 or at saddlery@hewittandwhitty.com.au. You can also drop into one of our LOCATIONS.

We will do our best to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
