These are our 5 Competition Must Haves for the show ring!
1. PS Of Sweden Lyra Competition Jacket
We are a huge fans of PS of Sweden and this jacket is why. The Lyra Jacket is beautifully tailored with a black or navy stretchy material (so there is no pull across the back of your shoulders) and works perfectly no matter the discipline. A hidden zipper behind the buttons means no gaping at the front. The jacket is breathable due to mesh along the back, sides and underarms (but you won’t be able to see through it). The brand logo is small and unobtrusive so all eyes will be on you. Due to the stretchy material this jacket is true to size.
2. PS Of Sweden Madison Competition Shirt
A great addition under your PS Of Sweden Lyra jacket is the Madison competition top. This material is super soft and silky, you will be super comfy! The shirt comes in white or white and black with mesh around the shoulders for extra ventilation. The stand-up collar works well with a stock or just by itself, depending on the look your going for. We also like the half zip front as it allows the top to be worn in a more casual riding setting.
3. QJ Riding Wear Lauren Competition Breech
Who doesn’t love QJ Riding Wear! These Aussie breeches are made from a technical water resistant fabric that also washes up well (just spot wash then throw in the washing machine). The breeches come in a midrise which is comfortable and flattering while sitting in the saddle. The pockets are real and the full silicone seat comes in white or in the popular grey (which we think just completes any look). Lycra socks at the bottom help the breech fit snug at the bottom of the leg for a comfortable fit under tall boot or gaiters.
4. Hamag Hair Accessories
It’s the details that matter when it comes to that polished show ring look. Style your hair comfortably and stylish (and so that it stays where it meant to) under your helmet with a range of Hamag hair accessories. Pick from hair nets, scrunchies and pony tail holders in a range of colours and materials (check out the pearl pony tail holder!) One great look for the show ring is to combine the hair net with a scrunchie! Pick the same or contrasting colours. Style your hair in a low bun with a hair net and use the scrunchie over the top. Classy.
4. Ariat Heritage II Contour Field Zip Boot
These Ariat boots are beautifully crafted and looks great on everybody! The perfect boot for all disciplines due to the sleek contoured fit from ankle to knee. 6. Arena Luggage Range
I can honestly say from personal experience that the Arena Luggage Range really will make your day more organized and everything will have its place.
Your outfit will go in the Garment bag and there are even smaller Packing Cells that fit in the bottom for things like hair accessories, hair bush and that extra pair of socks. Your Helmet will be safety packed away into its own padded bag which clips onto your Tall Boot Bag. The Tall Boot bag has that extra pocket for thing like spurs and gloves.
